“Perhaps you were born for such a time as this.”
Ester 4:14

I truly believe that each and every one of us was intentionally created by God for this time in history. How we choose to live the call that God has placed in our hearts can change the world and us.
St. Paul Parish has been my home since Kindergarten and I can honestly say that her parishioners have become like family. Growing up, our family’s life revolved around the church. My mother was a St. Paul School teacher, organist and CCD catechist while my father, a Jewish convert to the Catholic faith, was Scout Master for St. Paul Boy Scouts. My two brothers and I are second-generation St. Paul alumni (I have two nephews who also attended SPS) and I am very proud of the Catholic education I received.
Although active in Search youth ministry and campus ministry in my teens, I never thought of ministry as a career. After graduating with an MBA, I worked in healthcare finance for many years. LIFETEEN changed the course of my life in 2001 when it came to St. Paul and I was blessed to volunteer. Volunteering transitioned into a full-time job in ministry.

Since being hired at St. Paul, I have moved from Youth Minister to DRE for Children’s Ministries and now Director of Adult Faith Formation and R.C.I.A. I am blessed to have experienced ministry with every generation in our parish. Being a part of the ministry team here at St. Paul is one of the many blessings and challenges in my life and I wouldn’t trade it for anything. In 2019, I completed my MA in Theology at Walsh University.

When I am not serving at the parish, I enjoy reading and being creative. I am a colored pencil artist. I tell people “when God heard me sing, he handed me a pencil and said ‘my child, draw me a picture.”’ I have been drawing since I was 3yrs old. Its “happy place” and creativity is my connection with our Creator. My art work has been in a few local and national shows and published in two art books.

Most of all I treasure my role as “Aunt Michele.” God has blessed me with 5 awesome nieces and nephews (plus a niece-in-love and a nephew-in-love and counting) and 5 great-nieces and great-nephews. They are all the joy of my life!

“Be who God meant you to be and you will set the world on Fire."
