St. Paul provides the Helping Hands Ministry to assist individuals and families in need on an emergency basis in the North Canton and surrounding communities. To provide for these needs, the first Sunday of each month is set aside as “Helping Hands Sunday” for donations of food, money, and taxable items. The food cupboard is available to those in need five days a week.
We also provide assistance in the areas of rent, mortgage payments, medical needs, utilities and emergency situations.
The parish community comes together at Thanksgiving and Christmas to pack and distribute baskets to area families in need. In the summer, St. Paul parishioners collect school supplies to be distributed to those in need attending Stark County schools.
If you would like to help with any of these projects, look for updates on our website and in the bulletin.
