There have been a few moments where I’ve seen a brief glimpse of God watching out for me in special ways.
Last year I lost my Apple AirPods - don’t laugh, these are big part of my life! I use them every day for hours at a time - running, chores, for work calls, etc. They’re a big part of my life. I looked everywhere I could think, under the car seats, in the couch cushions, under the bed. I had given up hope and thought I may have left them at the airport. The weekend came and I began working on starting a load of laundry. As soon as I turned on the water, my daughter Ella (now 7) comes walking into the laundry room and asks to help do the laundry with me! I was astonished as she had never asked before, so of course I let her jump right in. With literally the first and only pair of pants she picks up (of which I was about to throw right into the machine filling with water), Ella feels something hard in the pants, reaches in and pulls out my AirPods! After that, she just walked away and stopped with helping….one pair of pants was all she could handle. This was the first time she ever expressed interest in helping with laundry and funny enough she has never once asked since - a once in a lifetime thing! Some may consider this coincidence, but I choose to see it as God’s angels watching over me. This was certainly nothing too important, not life or death, but sometimes you have to look for God in the little miracles.
