On March 5, 2008, Deb Dougherty was notified that she won a $8000 grand prize of a 32 pad CPS unit at the 2008 eTech conference. St. Paul School is entitled for training on the unit for Deb and 2 other teachers in Ashland. The units will be delivered after Easter. Deb had to write an essay stating why she felt that the CPS unit should be placed at St. Paul. She stated with the loss of jobs at the Hoover Co. the school was trying hard to keep enrollment up. With the lack of funding currently at the school, Deb felt our excellent science teacher, Sharon Varner, would really use this system. We are so happy to have received this award and thankful to eInstruction -Interactive Classroom Consulting.
