Mission Statement: Helping Hands was started to assist people in need on an emergency basis in North Canton and the surrounding communities. To provide for these needs, the first Sunday of each month is set aside as Helping Hands Sunday for donation of food, taxable items and donations of money.

The Food cupboard is available 5 days a week. In addition to food, we are able to provide help in the area of rent, mortgage payments, medical needs, utilities and emergency situations.

Twice a year, the parish community comes together at Thanksgiving and Christmas to pack and distribute baskets to area families in need.

We accept recommendations from information and Referral, Catholic Community Services and Parish Members. All calls come through the Parish Office.

During the year, our service can help anywhere from 4 families to 20 families a month.
