Important Information from the Athletic Director

1. Sports Medicine class/pupil activity supervisor classes:

Wednesday Oct. 28th, 2009 and Wednesday March 3rd, 2010 both from 5:45-9:45 pm. at the Akron General Wellness Center 4125 Medina Rd. 330 665-8200 $15 ($20 at the door)

2. Reminder to all parents. Please remind your child to keep all areas of the lockeroom and gym clean and neat. We are having a problem with these areas being trashed and left a mess each day. This is happening during and after school hours. any question please call. (J.Donald 330 699-2823)

All forms needed for ski club are located on the ski club web page listed above.

Deadline for ski club registration is November 13, 2009. Due to the popularity of Ski Club and the cost of transportation, initial registration is open to 6th, 7th, & 8th graders only at this time. Only 50 students will be accepted. Packets are available in the school office. If the bus is not full after the November 13th deadline, registration will be open to 5th graders at a first come, first serve basis. Notify Carol Bonavita at gbonavita@neo.rr.com if you want your 5th grader on the waiting list. Thank You.

* COACHES PLEASE CHECK ALL OF THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS. CHECK OFF WHAT YOU HAVE FINISHED AND CONTINUE TO SCHEDULE YOURSELF FOR ANY YOU HAVE NOT DONE. THESE REQUIREMENTS ARE FOR ALL ST.PAUL COACHES, ASSISTANTS AND VOLUNTEERS.

1. CPR/AED (THIS IS A 2 YEAR CERTIFICATION). MARY LEOPOLD OUR SCHOOL NURSE WILL OFFER IT TO US IN GROUPS OF 5 UPON REQUEST. YOU MAY ALSO TAKE IT ON LINE FOR A FEE OR FIND A PLACE IN OUR AREA TO TAKE IT FOR EXAMPLE THE LOCAL RED CROSS.

2. CHILD PROTECTION CLASS (TBA) FEE: NONE

3. CHILD PROTECTION SURVEY FORM (TURNED IN TO PAM BRADY) IN THE CHURCH RECTORY. FORM AVAILABLE FROM J.DONALD OR PAM BRADY. CALL CHURCH OFFICE (330) 499-2201.

4. BCI/FBI FINGERPRINTING: YOU MUST HAVE BOTH. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE THE FORMS SENT TO:
