Another year has come to an end and it was a very busy and exciting year. All classes kept up with what was happening in the world around them by studying current events
The 8th grade successfully completed Junior Achievement's program entitled "Economics for Success"which basically teaches core economic principles like supply and demand.
The 7th grade very successfully completed Project Citizen creating arguments and a portfolio for a class selected problem to study.
This year we in social studies enjoyed the teaching style of our student teacher Richard Kaliszewski. Mr. "K" as the students referred to him has a unique creative style all his own and will make any school district proud to call him their own.
These are just a few of the extra things accomplished in this year's social studies classes, these of course are above and beyond our normal classroom's textbook work.
